We must stress that to bid on a vehicle, you have you to register as a bidder before the auction begins. There is a $50 fee to bid which comes with two entrance passes, auction catalogue and sale day program.
The auction will also be open to the public as a fun way to experience North Carolina culture at the beautiful State Fairgrounds’ Jim Graham and Exposition Buildings on Blue Ridge Road. General admission tickets are $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass for adults, and $5 per day or $7 for a two-day pass for children.
There are three ways to bid at The Raleigh Classic:
- On-site bidding
- Absentee bidding
- Telephone bidding
Any of these will be acceptable, although we recommend that you review the rules for financing before making a bid.
Hopefully you will have gotten acquainted via our blog or Facebook page with a few of the many exceptional classic vehicles that have been carefully chosen for this event. We have also authored a number of blog posts about some of the finer details of classic car ownership: how to register a car as an antique, how to detail it, how to restore it, how to restore chrome and how vintage carburetors work.
You can take a look online at the cars that will be up for bidding, and peruse a Frequently Asked Questions page, as well. We hope to see you there.
